Celebrity couple and I hate to admit it

I want to die in a suit and tie
to save the (funeral) home some trouble
of dressing me up,
and I've been writing my own eulogies
since the day that I turned eighteen
Started losing family and best friends
Frankly, we're dropping like flies.
Started growing out of hypocrisy,
small amounts of hostility, but I can never
pass up the chance to fight with myself all
over the things that I haven't done to prevent
the loss of having fun.
You're not impressing anyone here,
so you might as well shut your mouth.

been caught up for three whole years in a cesspool
a wild pack of wolves and hypocrites
mindless, unaware and dumb
can i not speak right?
do i even emit a sound?
We turned out to be dead
We’ve fallen from the nest
It seems I've broken my neck
nobody told me
because nobody knew
nobody was looking for me
when all the others flew
away to greater heights
I was left to decay in the mud
Altruism turned out to be untrue
there’s no such thing.
